PR Weather changes often
Every day in the tropics means hot and rain. What does change is when it might rain, and how much - and forecasts change every few hours! Schedule your outings like snorkeling for what works for you, and let the tour operators decide if the weather is an issue (they will call the night before if it might be cancelled, then that morning if definitely cancelled). Don't only rely on the forecast.
PR El tiempo cambia a menudo
Todos los días en los trópicos son calurosos y lluviosos. Lo que cambia es cuándo y cuánto puede llover, y las previsiones cambian cada pocas horas. Programe sus salidas, como el buceo, en función de sus necesidades, y deje que los operadores turísticos decidan si el tiempo es un problema (llamarán la noche anterior si se puede cancelar, y esa misma mañana si se cancela definitivamente). No te fíes sólo de las previsiones.
Using the oven and microwave / UTILIZAR EL HORNO Y EL MICROO
Stove, Oven and Microwave
Our stove/oven is very sensitve to power bumps, and this is a common occurrence in Puerto Rico. We leave the fuse for the stove, oven and microwave in the OFF position when not in use to protect them. You can find the electrical fuse box next to the kitchen door, and turn on the fuse marked "Estuve". If you experience a power bump while using the stove or oven, kindly turn off the fuse until power is restored, or at least 5 minutes. This allows the oven to reset.
Estufa, horno y microondas
Nuestra estufa / horno es muy sensible a los golpes de energía, y esto es una ocurrencia común en Puerto Rico. Dejamos el fusible de la estufa, horno y microondas en la posición OFF cuando no están en uso para protegerlos. Usted puede encontrar la caja de fusibles eléctricos al lado de la puerta de la cocina, y encienda el fusible marcado «Estuve». Si experimenta un bajón de tensión mientras utiliza la estufa o el horno, tenga la amabilidad de apagar el fusible hasta que se restablezca el suministro eléctrico, o al menos durante 5 minutos. Esto permite que el horno se restablezca.

Turning on
Once it turns on, it will first log in to Samsung TV. This may take a minute. Press the square button with an arrow (see picture) to pull up a ribbon at the bottom of the screen that shows streaming options like Netflix and Hulu. You can log in to any of your accounts to use these services - and don't forget to log out before you go home!
Activación
Cuando se encienda, primero iniciará sesión en Samsung TV. Puede tardar un minuto. Pulsa el botón cuadrado con una flecha (ver imagen) para abrir una cinta en la parte inferior de la pantalla que muestra opciones de streaming como Netflix y Hulu. Puedes conectarte a cualquiera de tus cuentas para utilizar estos servicios, y no olvides cerrar la sesión antes de irte a casa.
